Chromatography columns

This module records and tracks how each column is used and how it ages. The three tabs at the top are column records, the model catalogue, and the health dashboard.

Column records

A column record holds the full set of parameters for a single column.

• What you recordVendor, type, resin and ligand, unit operation, inner diameter, bed height, column volume, and so on.
• What is trackedLifetime cycles, pressure and DBC trends, and other indicators of the column's health.
• Top tabs“Column records / Model catalogue / Health dashboard”.
• Where to add one“Register column” in the top right creates a record for a new column.

Model catalogue

The model catalogue is a library of column models from each vendor, referenced when selecting and registering columns.

• Grouped by vendorVendors such as Huanuo and Cytiva, with type and particle size on each entry.
• Top-right buttons“Add model / Export to Excel” maintain and export the catalogue.
• SpecificationsSelect a model on the left to see its full specifications.

Health dashboard

The health dashboard summarizes the condition and ageing of every registered column on one screen.

• Everything in one placeColumn lifetime, pressure, DBC, and other trend indicators shown together.
• Empty stateWith no columns registered yet, it prompts you to create a column record first.
