Scheduled tasks
Last updated 2026-09-11
“Scheduled tasks” let the AI work on its own at times you set — generating a report every morning, for example — and every run is recorded so you can review it.
Task list
- Task list on the leftEvery task shows its next trigger time, so you can see at a glance when it will run.
- Details on the rightSelect a task to see the full text of its instruction and how its runs have gone.
- Task / calendar toggleThe top of the page switches between list and calendar views. The calendar is better for seeing the overall schedule.
- Top-right buttons“Recycle bin” recovers deleted tasks; “New scheduled task” creates a new automated job.
Calendar view
Scheduled tasks can also be viewed as a calendar, with each day marked with the tasks that will fire on it.
- A month at a glanceEach task's trigger date and summary appear on the matching day.
- Seeing the scheduleGood for confirming what the AI will run automatically this week or this month, so nothing collides or gets missed.
- Back to the listSwitch between the two views freely: the list for detail, the calendar for the overall picture.
Creating a scheduled task
Creating one takes three steps: name it, set the cadence, and write out exactly what should happen when it fires.
- TitleName the job so you can recognize it in the list later.
- Cadence and end dateFor example “every day at 09:00”. You can also set an end date after which it stops on its own.
- Prompt (the instruction)Write out what the AI should do, in full and in plain terms — as if you were briefing someone in person.
- Skip confirmationWhen on, no human approval is required before sending or publishing. Use with care; further options are available under advanced settings.
